The first annual "Night Owl 5K" at the scenic Niobrara State Park will take place Saturday, September 14, 2013 at dusk (approximately 8pm). Running by the light of the moon and the illumination of their headlamps*, participants will run/walk 3.2 miles on the Cross Country Trail overlooking the Missouri River in the Niobrara State Park located just west of Niobrara, NE. This nighttime event will be a unique challenge for runners/walkers of all abilities and a great way to spend an early fall evening.
